I am still giggling….laying spread eagle, handcuffed to a bed at the age of 14 and you calm down and think….This is a good beginning for my book when I am President of General Motors! Loved it!
Maria’s story was “extra ordinary”. Lots of death in those early years, but she didn’t use it as an excuse to stop setting and achieving goals. I loved the part where Maria traveled to other countries the way I make decisions to drive to Minot. It is not the same as driving to Rolla, but I can do it when I make up my mind! Young people need to hear about “seizing the moment” and the enriching adventures that can result!
