UFC women’s bantamweight champion and actress Ronda Rousey raised more than $15,000 to help provide healthcare for uninsured and underinsured patients on Sunday. The event was co-sponsored by 7 Generation Games.
The money, which benefits Community Outreach Medical Services in Orange County, will provide healthcare funds for entertainers who lack sufficient medical coverage. A non-profit organization, COMS serves the underserved community of Santa Ana and surrounding areas in Orange County.
“Our company mission is to provide quality educational games for all students, including traditionally underserved communities and schools with limited budgets,” said 7 Generation Games CEO AnnMaria De Mars. “The work that COMS does really aligns with what we’re doing at 7 Generation Games. We’re really happy to both support their great work and Ronda.”
