In everyone’s life, some weeks are harder than others. Some days, you’re the statue and other days you’re the pigeon.
For a while, I felt like I was getting ahead of the game, adding the math challenges for Aztech, for Forgotten Trail, writing investor reports – and then three people ask me about tasks that haven’t been done, contracts that haven’t been written or emails that haven’t been answered.
I swear, some days I feel like chucking it all in and retiring to the Bahamas. I know we’re not supposed to say that when we’re in the midst of seeking investor funding, but it’s true.
Here is why I don’t …. I got on Facebook to encouraging messages from teachers, from principals, saying how much they liked our games, that they would be using the games in their classrooms again this year, parents posting photos of their kids playing the games and saying how much they had learned and that they liked learning math.
