As the year winds down, many people take part in year-end giving. In fact, reports have shown that 40 percent of annual giving is done in the month of December alone.
We at 7 Generation Games would like to extend an opportunity to help us provide “Spirit Lake: The Game” to schools and students. We have reached our beta capacity maximum for schools using or committed to using 7 Generation Games products in their schools as part of our testing phase. However, we have an even longer list of school interested in using our games. A number of these schools serve rural and/or low-income communities. We want to work to reach as many of these students as possible — and are hoping you can help us make that happen.
As you may know, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education is a clear priority within our educational system. There is both a need for and emphasis on improving student learning in these areas. Through our work at 7 Generation Games, we actively seek to help students improve their understanding of these fundamental math concepts while learning new technology and having fun.
Between now and Dec. 31, you can purchase a copy of “Spirit Lake: The Game” and gift it to a sponsored student. To do this, you simply need to go to the 7 Generation Games purchase page. When purchasing, select the “This is a gift” box. For the recipient email, put maria@7generationgames.com. By gifting the game to this address, we will know that you want it to go toward sponsoring a student. You will also receive a confirmation email from us so that you know everything went through.
Likewise, you can gift it to an entire classroom or school. If you opt to gift it to a school or classroom, we can either assist in selecting a school from our list — or you can choose to gift it to a specific school or classroom in your community. If you’re interested in sponsoring a class or school, please contact us directly (maria@7generationgames.com).
And for every gifted game, 7 Generation Games will match it by donating a second game — so your gift will reach twice as many students.
All game donations are considered in-kind and tax deductible, and 7 Generation Games will provide you with the necessary records.
